Why Does Time Matter?
Because evidence shows that earlier diagnosis leads to better outcomes.
While a cure for MS remains elusive, there are many effective treatments available that can delay progression of the disease. Less progression tends to mean less accumulation of disability.

Wellington MS is holding its annual MS Awareness Week campaign again. This year, as well as collecting in many of our regular street and supermarket locations, our calendar also includes some new collection spots including in Wainuiomata and at Brewtown Farmer's Market and another amazing Bake Sale at Victoria University Wellington, organised by our wonderful patron and friends from Victoria and Otago (at Wellington) Universities.

The backbone of the service we provide is the free mobile Community Advisory Service that enables over 300 people with MS and their families living in Greater Wellington to live their best lives.
We hate to ask for money, but as a Charity that only receives a third of the funds it needs for providing services on behalf of the Government, we rely on grants and donations to support our important mahi.
If you are in the fortunate position to be able to make a donation then we will be extremely grateful for your support. We politely request that our clients and members not go without any necessities to make a donation.
